What will happen next on "The days of a life of a Southern Girl" !

Unless he calls your only gonna read one more post other than this one about army boy. And it's gonna say were over and done with. The whole story is that on Wendseday nite I wrote him , I tried in a round a bou't way to ask him if he was gonna be seeing other people while he was on leave . Well , apparently I asked it in a really round a bout' way cause he misunderstood my questioning and thought that I meant I wanted to see other people . So he wrote back Thursday morning , the way he wrote was like he was mad & had his feelings hurt , he said " I thought we were seeing each other, but I guess I was headed in the wrong direction, if you wanna see other people that's fine with me , go ahead it wont bother me none."

I wrote back and tried to explain what I meant but Thursday, the day he wrote me is also the same day that he went on leave and was coming back home from Iraq. Then on Friday morning I saw that he logged on, but didn't reply back to the e-mail I sent him explaining what I meant . Now it's been THREE days since he was supossed to leave Iraq and I havent heard anything form him. I know he was supossed to leave Thursday , but he got online Friday , so I have no idea whats goin on , or why he hasnt called. Even if he was mad or upset at me he should at least write and say he's okay . I would never do that to someone I cared about even a little bit , when it's a situation like that everyone has the right to know your alive and at least made it back okay.

All I know is that if he doesnt call or write by the end of this week there will be no more talking when he gets back to Iraq , he should be man enough to call while he's in the states, not when he goes back to Iraq and needs a phone pal , cause it ain't happenin like that , sorry charlie !

I'll keep you updated on the soap opera that has become my life !

He called!(LOL)

I got a phone call....from army boy. Lol . I know , I know. But until this giddyness wears off ( I hope it never does) that's what I'm gonna be writtin about . He called while I was at work , I wasnt able to talk to him but about 15 mins. He started talkin bou this summer and goin campin with me , lol. It's just funny to me that he's the one who tells me that he misses me , and he's the one plannin our summer together, I like that about him. I like just about everything about him, lol. I can't help it I'm being really giggily , and I can't stop myself . giggle .giggle . lol . I'll keep you posted on what hapens next , I dont think I'll hear form army boy for a few days or more , seein how he leaves on Thursday, but I'll let you know when I do .

Better late than Never. Ijust got home form work and had mised messages from army boy. It simply said

I missed you
Talk to you later.

I wote back :

I miss you too .

I must get boring to read seein how all I talk baout how I'm thinkin bout' army boy , but I can't help it. I've never talked to a guy the way I tlk with him, I would have just changed the subject or said "Okay" to a guy if they would have said I miss you. I'm not a shy person, or someone who gets embarrassed easily around anyone, with the exception of a guy I like. And even though I really like him , more than I've ever liked anyone , and I do get embarrassed around him I still tell him whatever embarassing thing he asks me . It's a game to him though, he likes to see my face go as red as my hair ! He thinks it's hilarious. But anyways I had to share the news....*reminder , he comes home Thursday, even though I'm not gonna get to see him , I'm glad he's comin' back to the states , where we can talk , and I know he's safe !

Happy Valentine's Day to ALL

 

 I hope everyone has a great Valentine's Day , relax , have fun, tell someone you love them whether your single , married , or just tell a family member Happy Valentine's Day . I think of Valentine's Day as another reason to tell my family I love them , and we could all use a reminder here and there to stop and smell the roses ! Whether or not you think Valentine's Day is a made up holiday , and no one should celebrate it , Oh well ! Like I said call a friend , neighbor , family member and tell them how much you appreciate them ,even when they drive you past coo coo-city right into insane-ville .

I got part of my wish today , but I would've preferred the other part more. Earlier I said that I wished I had the day off to sit at home & watch Daytona , and that army boy would give me a valentine's day call . Well I got the first part of my wish. I got ready and drove a half an hour all the way out to work , clocked in , and then I looked at the schedule to see who else was supossed to come in today , when I glanced at my name it just happened to say I was off today ! I know, what a dork , right ? But , in my defense my schedule has never changed , I always just have Saturdays off , and I work Sundays. So I felt like a big DORK this morning, but I'm used to it , so it's okay ! I would have rather worked today , and gotten a phone call or even an e-mail from army boy instead, but it didn't work out that way. He's not able to call me today . I was hoping he'd be able too, but he did get online yesterday , and usually he's only able to get online and call home every four or five days so hopefully he'll be ablle to call before he leaves there . He's supossed to be coming home on the 18th but he could be on a plane for a few days and definately won't be able to talk to me . But enough my random thoughts on predicting the future of whats gonna happen in a fewdays , keep your finger's crossed that he comes home safe for me , thanx everyone for readin my rantin's & ravin's !

I kinda sorta her]ard form army boy yesterday , I know he's alive I just didn't get to talk to him, hopefully he'll get a chance to write or call me today on Valentine's Day ! I know what a cliiche' (i hope that' how you spell that ) . But I can't help it I'm usually never seeing anyone at Valentine's Day , so a phone call would be an awesome gift/suprise ! But for the bad news of my day is that I'm working today instead of sitting at home in pajamas watching Daytona 500 , which is really where I wanna be !

Good news

So , I heard from army boy last nite. When I got home I had a messages witing for me . He insatnt messaged me while I was offline , and this what it read :

hey how are things going ?

I've been thinking about you .

sorry bout' leave .

I owe him a favor.

I will come down there as soon as possible if it's still cool with you.

 

So I of course wrote him back ,

Good , just been spendin time with family. How are things with you ?

I've been thinking about you too !

I'm bummed that I won't get to see you , but it's okay I would do the same thing if I was in your situation .

Of course it's okay that you still come down , hopefully you'll be down this summer around the time were plannin' a campin trip .

I'm glad you wrote , be careful. Don't do anything to dare devil !

 

I am really glad that he wrote , it had been five days since I heard from him. Even though I was a combination of mad, sad, and depressed that he wasn't coming down here to see me , I'm kind of a push-over when it comes to him. He makes me wanta forget everything. The only part I hate about our relationship is that we don't get to talk that much. The only time he is ever able to call me is when I'm asleep or at work where all i can do is talk for a minute , and I can't call him , well, I can but he can only answer it when he has it hooked up, and when is able to hook it up is when he calls me. I wish I could I could just talk to him more often, or when I'm havin a bad day I wish I could call him, and talk to him. He makes me think about other things , he makes forget about everything but him and me , and whatever silly thing were talkin' bout' at that second. Enough of my ga ga . I'll keep you updated .

Family (sommetimes I wanna trade them in )

   
 Family's can be great .... sometimes. And other times I just want to shut everyone out. Especially, my family. They have lived through there younger years already  , and as much as I love them , it's my turn . My turn to be young , make mistakes, fall helplessly in love , and that requires them to let me make my choices. I appreciate there advice and wisdom , don't get me wrong , but everyone thinks they can handle certain situations , and make a better choice concerning my life than I can. I'm young , I know , but I have a good head on my shoulders ( a goofy one , but nevertheless) I've never made a bad choice where it affected my life in a negative way, I've never done anything to get myself into trouble , and I'm not saying that I wan too . What I'm trying to say I guess is that I need a little more freedom where I'm not constantly waiting for everyone to put in there two cents about the tiniest descision. The big life altering choices are another story , thats when I run to them for advice, support, and sometimes a little bit of an approval in my choice. I'm the youngest, cantcha tell ? And that means if one person knows , everyone knows , even right down to embarrasing details that every single family member , neighbor, and strangers didn't need to know about . But I love them , I would rather have a family that butts in a little too much with there comments , than a family that doesn't butt in enough . I guess my whole point of this post was just FAMILY , regardless if we can 100 % of the time stand them, we love them cause' there ours , and even though I deny being blood kin to them sometimes in public , I wouldn't change them for the world (okay I would trade my brother in, but that's it ) .

I have a question . You can reply , comment , or take as a retoricol question. But here it goes ,

" Why do people make life difficult on purpose ? "

I know , I know , life is difficult , but certain people make it more difficult than it needs to be . Simple things should stay simple . Life is hard enough without making simple things complicated. I want to scream at people sometimes and tell them to " Quit with the drama, it's not the end of the world , and my all time favorite quote my family used to tell me when I was growing up was " the sun'll come out tomorrow " ! All I know is that everything in life shouldn't be so difficult. Don't get me wrong , I don't think everything should be easier either , how could we appreciate it if it was just given to us with no effort, no challenge , no hard-work ? But silly simple things should stay what they are " silly ,simple things" they shouldn't be made more complex than need be .

That's my question for the day , let it be sent out in to void .
